- on the environment, human and animal health and democratic decision-making

The Government has assigned the National Board of Trade to analyse the possible effects of the CETA agreement on the environment, human and animal health and democratic decision-making.

The Board has focused in particular on issues relating to future regulatory space and states’ right to regulate, and has conducted a review of the chapters in the agreement that are considered to affect these aspects. The Board collaborated with several expert authorities.
